TissuePatchDural™ is indicated for use to seal and reinforce against fluid (including cerebrospinal fluid and/or blood) leakage where repair of the dura mater is required. It helps in the avoidance of post-operative complications associated with leaks by helping surgeons achieve a watertight closure. This means it can contribute to a reduction of ‘in theatre’ time, shorter patient stays and reduced healthcare costs.

Note: TissuePatchDural is not indicated for use as a dural substitute or replacement but can be used in combination with such materials to achieve watertight closure.

Key Benefits

  • Synthetic, fully absorbable surgical sealant film.
  • Can be applied straight from the pack, requiring no advance preparation.
  • Indicated to give a watertight seal by reinforcing closure of the Dura Mater.
  • Multi-layered, incorporating structural & adhesive absorbable components.
  • Self-adhesive.
  • Transparent, allowing post-application wound visualisation.
  • Fully synthetic, containing no human, bovine or porcine material.

ENT/Head and Neck Surgery

TissuePatch helps avoid post-operative complications associated with saliva and chylous effusions by helping surgeons achieve a watertight closure.

As with TissuePatch Dural, this can lead to significant reductions re hospital ‘in-patient time’, post-procedure recovery and ‘in theatre’ time. Surgical team workflow is also simplified by the fact that this product can be used directly 'out-of-the-box' no preparation required.

Note: TissuePatch™ is not indicated for direct use in the mouth on Oral Mucosa

Key Benefits

  • Self-adhesive surgical sealant film.
  • Indicated for the avoidance and resolution of leaks in surgery.
  • Particularly effective in adjunctive closure of tissue to minimise blood, saliva and chyle leaks during ENT surgery procedures.
  • Fully synthetic, containing no human, bovine or porcine material.
  • Effective therapeutic solution for only a tiny amount of foreign material.
  • Available in a range of sizes and shapes and can be cut to shape.
  • Multi-layered, incorporating structural / adhesive absorbable components.
